Tarantino's script was amazing, violent, bloody, and a lot of fun. The film also co-starred Tarantino as well as a young George Clooney hot off of 'E.R.', Harvey Keitel, Juliette Lewis, Cheech Marin and Salma Hayek. The place they are to meet their criminal contact in Mexico to help them set up their lives turns out to be an old temple of blood thirsty vampires.

With the family vehicle they try to cross the border, but end up diverting and arrive at a nightclub full of vampires, where they must fight until dawn to preserve their lives. While fleeing to Mexico, Seth and Richie meet former preacher Jacob Fuller ( Robert Patrick ) and his family, whom they take hostage. The story centers on the bank robber Seth Gecko ( DJ Cotrona ) and his violent and unpredictable brother, Richard “Richie” Gecko ( Zane Holtz ), who in the film are played by George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino, who try to escape from the FBI and two Texas rangers, Earl McGraw ( Don Johnson ) and Freddie González ( Jesse García ), after robbing a bank in Abilene, Texas, leaving several dead.
